Priority areas include: women's health, environmental health, health system reform, and welfare reform. NLHO The National Latina Health Organization was formed to raise Latina counsciousness about health and health problems. The NLHO promotes self-help methods and self-empowerment processes as a vehicle for taking greater control of their health practices and lifestyles.
